Nika (Greenland Dog)
Fenrirkin Catch Me If You Can
IRE / POL / HUN / BEL / NED / LUX / INT / BNLX CH Sledog Brutte Coffea Del Fenrirkin (AnCh'17-19, CW'18'19, BW'18'19, GW'19, AW'19, BLX-W.NL'18.BE'18'19, WW'18, EW'18'19)
SWISS SH CH Suna-Sanik's Freidige Alice Av Fenrirkin (BJW-BE'19)
Due to her previous owners circumstances no longer being suitable for a young Greenland dog, through no fault of her own Nika has come back to us at Fenrirkin and although enjoying time here with
her family here is now in a position to be looking for a new home to call her own.
From our Dylan x Alice pairing born in December 2020, she shares a lot of qualities from her parents, not least their high levels of affection and enthusiasm – cuddles and kisses really are her favourite things!
Although spending the last 8 months or so in a single dog household she has proved to generally be non-confrontational with the other dogs she has met (both here and outside the home) and although
shows the expected desire to pull walks relatively well on the lead but does need to be reminded of her manners in both areas when excited.
She came to us without any crate training but is starting to improve in this area as well as adapting to time in a kennel / run with another dog for company, but was previously a house dog and does enjoy being in a home environment.
She has proven to be a fast learner and has been enjoying some basic obedience and ringcraft training, but not untypically also has a stubborn streak and a lot of energy to channel into the right direction so we are looking first and foremost for a home that would be willing to give her the love she desires and the time to expend all that physical & mental energy whilst still giving her the structure and boundaries a young dog needs. If anybody would like to know more about Nika please get in contact.
Please visit the Alaskan Malamute Rescue website for Malamutes of varying ages looking for their forever home.
For Greenland Dogs, please message via the contact page, where we can liaise with other breeders and the UK breed club on your behalf.
